Hola From LA!

Well the weather isnt that bad here, at least it isnt RAINING! Although I think they could probably use what we have been getting for the past month. I dont mind not having to deal with LA traffic AND wet roads, one of the two is bad enough.

The air is a little smoky because of some fires around here somewhere I think.

My travels yesterday were wonderfully uneventful! Very few people actually at the airport in line and I was expecting hoards of people trying to get home from the holiday! Woo hoo no wait to get through security.

I stayed in a REALLY nice and really LARGE hotel last night. WOW I wish I was staying there again to night but thats alright Im getting out of downtown and up towards north LA this afternoon. Man oh man I hate parking garages.... This one at the hotel took 10 minutes to get me my car and then when I got over to this building.... grrr would it be SO hard to have at least one person on each floor that speaks English? I couldnt find self parking, FINALLY found valet 2 floors up (by accident) and all this waiting/driving and I was 15 minutes late getting up to the club.... I hate being late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I fly home on Friday morning and what I didnt realize until I was leaving the airport yesterday is that Im flying back out of the same airport but Im driving even further north than I am right now so for me to make my 10:00 am flight on Friday and deal with "rush hour" traffic (which is pretty much 24/7 here) I will probably have to leave the hotel by 5:00 am (7:00 am at home) to make it to the airport on time... YIPEE not. Oh well, we do what we gotta do!

Derek finishes school this week and is supposed to get his license today or maybe tomorrow so everyone be on the look out for him on the roads! Actually if you need your yard mowed every week or every other week he has a business on the side doing that... also washing windows on the outside of your house!
