Webbed Toes?

Well my feet were beginning to dry out there for a few days, but as many of you know, Texas, North Texas specifically has been getting hit with rain almost every day again. Its been so bad that our Ficus tree that we keep inside during the winter and outside in the summer was beginning to die because the pot it is in didnt have any holes in it for the water to drain out. Yesterday's project when I got home was to first, SPRAY with mosquito spray since as soon as you walk outside you are attacked by them. Then, since Derek has his DL, I sent him for potting soil earlier in the day, we moved the monster into the grass and took it out of the pot... good grief did that stink to high heaven. I removed as much outer dirt as I could without getting into the roots to much, drilled 5 holes in the bottom of the pot and the side, put new rocks, dirt and then the tree and root ball back into the pot. We then left it out on the patio so it wouldnt be hit by the run off from the house as well as any rain that went its way. Hopefully this will keep the tree from dieing!

Kenny is landing in about 20 minutes so I guess I'd better head for DFW and pick him up from his week of "meetings" and golf... ya 2 hours of meetings, and afternoons of golf.. dont you feel sorry for him? NOT
