The Monday before hand started my cleaning frenzy with emptying the pool, 22,000 gallons worth of water, washing the walls, scooping out 8 contractor bags of leaves, ickie water the sump pump didnt get and then refilling it. Tuesday, after I could move my arms and back, I started on the inside of the house. Clean, Clean and more Clean went on that afternoon and into Wednesday morning. Then that afternoon until around 7 pm I cooked and prepped for Thursday. I got up around 6 am and started cooking again until everyone arrived at 12 to start eating. Im always so grateful that Mom cooks the Turkey for me since my oven just isnt big enough to cook that and the 5+ sides I put in chafers. All in all, with the 1 baked turkey, 1 fried turkey, spiral cut ham and all the usual sides, it all went over well! Family and friends cant be enjoyed enough.
After that, I collapsed for a good 12 hours! We did get up and do a little Black Friday shopping but thankfully there were no all night waiting in line necessities this year! We picked up a few deals throughout the day though.
Now, Kenny did surprise the heck out of me on Friday evening with my Christmas present a bit early.
Can you say WOW? and Sparkly? He did goooood this year, yes sir he did.
I had already gotten him his present, a 61" LCD HD Panasonic TV! Figured he'd like it and boy howdy did he ever.
Now that we have made it past Thanksgiving and look toward Christmas, it reminds me of those friends and family we hold dear. Theresa reminded me of this on her blog (see the link off to the right.)
Until next time when ever that is!

It was a fabulous T-Day and I'm so glad that this year we actually had time to sit & talk.
Hugs!
