The Weekend

We really didnt do a whole lot this weekend. I wasnt feeling well last week on Thursday and Friday so I spent the days close to home, often on the couch. Saturday was much the same, although I did start to feel a little better as the day went on and I decided to run by my Boss's house to attend the retirement party of his AA. It was fun because I got to see quite a few people I hadnt seen in at least a year, some way more than that. My boss and his family have a beautiful house and 7 Christmas trees... SEVEN!!!! Heck I do good to get my one set up and decorated... well setting it up isnt the issue, its taking it back down... I threw away the box for mine last year and hubby went down to buy me a new one... yup he got a box it would fit in, but it wouldnt go into the attic. Sooo since he never went and bought another one, the undecorated tree sat in the formal dining room.... yup you guessed it... ALL YEAR. Sooo on Thanksgiving afternoon the guys moved it from the formal dining room to the living room and on Saturday Mom and I decorated it. Yesterday evening I hung lighted garland around the mantle. This turned out beautiful especially with a fire lit. I tried to take a picture of the tree with the few presents we've bought so far and of the fireplace and mantle and for some reason it wouldnt lighten up enough for the picture to be visible even with a little messing around in picture manager. Im guessing I need a digital camera 101 class from Theresa!

Ok so this morning Derek woke up not feeling well, I sure hope he doesnt have what I had.... Will see how he feels in a little while and see if he needs to go to the Dr or not. Did have the ex check to see if my Dr. is listed on his insurance... sure enough it is! YAY.

Im going to try and upload a short movie mom took with her cell phone of the Dogs playing. The chocolate and white Brittany is Hershey...... we sure miss him.. ok maybe I miss him so seeing the videos of him playing is way cool and makes me want to drive out to see "Derek's" pup. Asta barks a lot but doesnt jump in you'll notice (the schnauzer) because she is now pretty much blind. Watch how easy they are with her!
